Ideas, suggestions, comments, stuff to do....

Yesterday's Twitter council meeting was an absolute shambles, not strictly Twitter's fault, nor was it that of the individuals in attendance.

Arse---I MEAN!-- Arts Minister Lady Painted Duchess' suggestion of a group blog makes complete sense and so here we are, a place where linear conversation can be had and comments can be made (and later followed) 24 hours a day, regardless of one's pesky geographical location or commitments in the real world.

Points made that I was able to derive from the Twittalogue include --

Baron Hawkey said:
I'm in as long as its not too intense.
forkinabucket declared:

a blog free-for-all - what would we post about though...? Anything?
I think one person needs to be in charge though, set up a rota possibly
what a fab idea! We shall take it in turns to publish our manifestos!

Painted Duchess lamented:
I'm no good at blog commitment...
but also said
Nah, why? I participate in a group blog with Team Supahero. No rules!

  1. NO RULES, BABY! Well, I think it should be a blog to which we can contribute anything we like, as long as it fits into certain categories that we shall define. For instance, Team Supahero's categories are FUNNY, HORRIFYING, BEAUTIFUL, INTERESTING... and I feel that there may be another one but I don't know quite what it is. Maybe our categories could be social media related. What do you think?

  2. Please could I request that you add all of our email addresses (or at least just mine) to the "EMAIL COMMENTS" section of the admin settings so that I can be advised of new comments on the blog without having to search for them? Although maybe I can do that in my own settings. *cough* I might look for that now...
